| Description: | Aarogya is a game about at-birth-immunization, designed for Innovators in Health, an NGO working with rural communities in Bihar. The gameplay is based on Snakes and Ladders - locally familiar and relatable but placed in a realistic rural healthcare scenario, with ground level choices expecting mothers and families have to make everyday - put together from extensive field research and prototype testing. While three players play the game directly, the interactive elements and scale of the board are designed to involve a large spectator group to create far-reaching community awareness - "It Takes A Village." Social-intervention becomes collaborative teamwork through gameplay. |
