Description: Mantri Cards™️ is a card game based on real data submitted by the Members of Parliament (MPs) of the 17th Lok Sabha.

Launched soon after the 2019 General Election, the game was designed to build awareness about the people we elected into power. Mantri Cards serves as a gamified gateway to informed discussions on our political system — not just for the politically inclined, but for anyone who wants to be an active and aware citizen.

To provide a refuge from divisive narratives in the media, we focused on keeping the format politically neutral, containing data that's entirely verifiable. From colours to the illustration style, we have designed and considered the cards carefully and neutrally, so as not to exaggerate or embellish any detail. We have deliberately stayed away from colours that already have political associations, and instead gone with pastel shades, to form a style that is akin to school textbooks, further emphasising the informative objectives of the game.

The fact that the game was crowdfunded by people who believed in the idea rather than being fueled by political interest/agenda, further legitimised it. We're proud that the game has become popular among so many — regardless of region, age and even political leaning.
