| Description: | The aim was to replicate the journey that transformed Margaret Elizabeth Nobel to Sister Nivedita.The idea was of restoration of her house and convert it into heritage centre without any structure change in the house. In the restored house of sister nivedita in the old part of the city , the exhibition is designed as a sensory, experiential journey through space and time, rather than just an informative archive. Design allowed flexibility of use in space such that the museum can also act as an active platform prolifilterting the ideas of sister that led too much social reform and empowerment in 19th century. |
