Description:	LUFT is an entrepreneurial debut, which seeks to create a distinct visual presence for high-end clientele in the heart of Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills. The challenge was to transform a long, narrow space within an existing building, into a stunning and functionally efficient bar with unique spatial experience. Visitors entering the bar are greeted by a double-height space, illuminated by 400 suspended copper profiles, creating a dynamic play with light and shadows. These profiles modulate the volume and create a sense of spatial demarcation between levels, without resorting to physical partitions that are typical of hospitality interiors. The bar and performance space at the centre are surrounded by seating that adapts to different levels. The elevated, suspended details incorporated into each level create the illusion of levitating seats. The seating booths on the second level, with backrest extending to the ceiling, provides exclusivity and accentuates the spatial drama. The lighting is designed to transition from fully lit to a gradual dimming as the dusk settles into night, ensuring an immersive experience. This thoughtful curation of ambiance and design details, reinforces the bar’s name and adds a touch of surrealism to the space that appeals to the city’s elite.
