| Description: | Soil is unassuming, simple and raw but deep, complex and versatile as a material. We showcase its beauty in its interpretations and applications of soil in space through different layers created with materials and techniques that echo its essence in versatility, warmth, comfort, and the overall experience of the space. For Into the Deep, we try to capture the mysterious landscape of the sea in an immersive sonic and visual experience. Our effort is to capture this realm of beauty and the fascinating depths of mystery and trepidation through artistic layers of custom double-woven panels, accentuated by the interplay of light and sound. Goblin Mode's is a series of animated split-screens of personas, juxtaposed with objects, crochet and hand-tufted textures that create a tactile and sensorial landscape for imagination and self-indulgence. An installation made from socks is expressive of whimsical cocooned cosiness. Indofuturism is a blend of familiar landscapes and crafted surfaces with the intriguing allure of the retro futuristic narratives to create a surreal and absurdist panorama. Terra evokes a visual poetry of gentle falling leaves captured in motion and alluding to a metaphorical experience of a comforting home. |
