Description:	Saamya are among India’s leading creators of fine scented oil blends. These oils are available in a variety of fragrances; each designed for a specific purpose - some to soothe, others to invigorate. But all are intended to evoke a strong emotional response. Taking users on a journey of emotion with a single drop. The project required that we translate the product’s unique ability to evoke chapters of emotion through the tiniest application into packaging that would delight. The result were 3 “volumes” of thimble-sized fiction that came along with each blend. The books told stories of love, nostalgia, and healing through aromas while using the key ingredients in each blend as pivotal plot points. For example, the ASA blend intended as a healing aroma, was accompanied by a tiny novelette that used its key ingredient of coriander to tell a tale of the curative power of food. The other two blends took on similar emotions using the key ingredients. Each book was meticulously put together with watercolour illustrations and hand written lettering to bring alive chapters of emotion.
