Description: | Known as the Object Mini, it is a reinterpretation of a newspaper. While it is a traditional broadsheet, Object Mini features long form articles as well as current news from the conflict in Gaza. The belief is that fashion affords us a lens to better understand society and fashion editorials dive deep into themes such as reuse and recycle. The Mini also doubles up as a catalogue of the brand products and chronicles the people, the makers and the hands behind these products. It is an experimental broadsheet that can develop into a bi-monthly Sunday paper for the curious minded who seek a deep understanding on society, culture and fashion. The newspaper design is culmination of both classic journalistic design as well as an addition of the cataloging of products that creates a unique congruence. The use of typography, white space, and column grids ensures that content is easy to navigate, while the balance of text and visuals creates a dynamic cohesiveness. The design is timeless yet adaptable, reflecting the publication's identity while accommodating the evolving modern trends. We incorporated newsprint to allow readers to fully experience the mini issue in its authentic form. |
