| Description: | Limited Edition Spice Advent Calendar Vahdam India, known for spicing up the US market with its annual advent calendars, turned Christmas on its head with a unique limited edition offering : 24 days of fresh Indian spices. We were faced by the challenge of transforming a classic western holiday tradition with an exciting Indian twist; an advent calendar box as distinctive as the spices it houses. When we think of Christmas we think of the obvious; reindeers, Santa Claus and his elves! we wanted to do something different for the international market and design something that would truly stand out as a special gifting option during the holiday season. The laborious exterior of the box depicts the warm home scene of the dinner being laid out, while the inner frame was designed to hold the spices securely without interfering with the illustration. When opened we see the decorative numbers that flow rhythimically. The structure mimics a cabinet with drawers that provide 24 days of excitement and joy. This limited edition packaging was featured in top listicles in the USA and available at the luxury department store Nordstrom. It’s a celebration of flavour that’s both minimal and maximal in its impact. |
