Blending art, science, and technology, this experience uses biofeedback, to craft a personalized symphony of light and sound orchestrated by your heartbeat. A smartwatch captures your heart's rhythm in real time, transforming it into a seamless display of gradients and a captivating soundscape, guiding you on a meditative journey towards coherence. The exprience utilizes over 4500 LEDs, controlled by custom software written by Myles in the Max programming language. This software translates your heartbeat into a dance of light, mirroring your inner state in real-time. The visual spectacle is complemented by a responsive and dynamic nine layer soundscape composed by Aman Jagwani, creating a unique and sacred experience for each participant. Effection unlocks self-discovery, showcasing the power of art and science working together, with participants reporting emotions from deep relaxation and focus to a surge of self-love. One experiencer described it as "a 15-minute piece of music created by the human body where we are the instrument!" Backed by HeartMath Institute’s scientific research, this post- graduate thesis by Hansika Mangwani was recently showcased at The Method Gallery, Mumbai and at India Art Fair, Delhi 2024. |
